Two months after a January 1996 vacation to the sunshine state, the Pepka family relocated from Las Vegas, Nevada to Anna Maria Island.


Ron is an avid believer of living life to the fullest extent whether "in the fast lane" as Track Champion Las Vegas Speedrome Heavy & Motorcycle Divisions 1983-1985, 
"in the great outdoors"  as the 1993 2nd ranked in the net division if the Southern Nevada Golf Association and winner of the Clark County Amateur by shooting a 72 par round. 
He believes that personal goals and achievements are no less than important than professional ones. 
In 2002 he obtained his Advanced Scuba Certification and started an annual family tradition of scuba diving and lobster hunting.


Cathy thoroughly enjoys country living and can often be found doing gardening or feeding the chickens, squirrels and birds.  
Some weekends she indulges her hobby of antiquing, but finds joy from the most important thing to her, spending time with her husband, children and the two "dogs", Gingersnap and Samantha.


They have two wonderful children that they are most proud of.  
Their son Ben is a graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School, and an accomplished musician and  sports nut. 
Their daughter Hannah is a graduate of Braden River High School and is already planning to take over the business! 
Ron and Cathy are very excited to have both of their children as active members of the team and look forward to their bright futures.

Some homebuyers approach the final days of the home sale transaction with great enthusiasm, feeling utterly confident that the end is in sight, and feeling completely organized about the move. They have accounted for every detail, contacting the moving company, arranging for the transfer of their telephone, electric, water, and gas accounts and having the home professionally cleaned. They start checking off the days until the closing on their calendar. But in reality, the closing may not be entirely predictable.

It is very useful for homebuyers (and sellers) to remember that closing dates are not set in stone. Lenders, appraisers, title attorneys, credit check services, and anyone else who is involved in the transactions can potentially cause a delay in the closing. If buyers keep this in mind while making arrangements, they can minimize the possible cost and inconveniences due to a delay.

As the closing approaches, the real estate agent will stay on top of the situation and keep in touch with everyone involved in the transaction to prevent any unnecessary delays.
